  One major issue I ran into when doing my blog was technological malfunctions along with my technological inexperience. I initially created my commercial in Capcut, a technology which I had only began to use specifically for this project. When attempting to finalize and embed my commercial, I noticed that the website did not save my commercial. I tried to create a new one, but the site was not working, so I decided to edit a brand new commercial using the same content as before, this time using Vimeo. After creating this commercial, I had difficulties embedding the commercial using Youtube as it kept showing up as a link. After many, many attempts, I finally got the commercial embedded. A learning experience from this project would be to learn more about the sites I am using and finalize my projects days in advance to allow me time for troubleshooting when in my finalization process.

 Hey guys!!! Today we’re gonna be talking about how I put the finishing touches on my commercial. The first thing I did was make sure that the order made sense. I had to move some things around so it had more order. For example, I put my baby pictures before my current pictures. Another thing I did was check the time. My original commercial was about seven minutes. I didn’t think this was a good idea because many people have a shorter attention span. I thought 3-5 minutes was the right amount of time. In this way, I could tell my story without boring my audience. There were three ways I shortened my commercial. The first were to cut out certain scenes. These were scenes which seemed redundant and frankly unnecessary. My second method of cutting down my time was speeding up the music. I played the sped up version of some of the songs I chose. This actually ended up having multiple benefits. Besides cutting down my time, I realized that the sped up music caught more attention and fit int

Canva is a website for graphic design and is especially useful for social media and presentations. I mostly chose Canva because of my prior experiences. I have been using Canva since middle school and have not come across any problems. It is useful for both personal and professional needs, so I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. I used Canva primarily for my collages. One of the reasons I recommend it so highly is because of how beginner friendly it is. I just used the templates for collages, added my title and pictures, then downloaded it on my computer. I used 5-10 pictures per collage to truly showcase all my memories and any pics that represent me. The second app I chose was CapCut. I had no prior experience for this app. I mainly chose this one because I see so many people using it, especially on social media apps such as TikTok. Because

My main goal for picking out my music is to choose something that represents me and my life. Firstly, I want to add my favorite song. It is Lovefool by The Cardigans. I especially plan on playing this song in the background while I show pictures of my friends and family. It is a very sentimental song and it brings me a lot of nostalgia, especially when I think about me and my mom. Another song I would like to include is Lauryn Hill. Lauryn Hill is my favorite artist so if there is a commercial about me she should definetaly be in there. Her music is not only relatable, but it sounds like me and it's a sound that fits me. Also, the music itself would match the vibe of the pictures. Another song I like is Melting by Kali Uchis. I have always loved this song and Kali Uchis. But this song holds a special place because there are so many people who say that this song

 The first thing I need to do to complete my blog is select my pictures. My plan is to create a collage with each sector of my life. I will first have one with my interests. This will include pictures of me at the gym, things I have cooked, my makeup, books, etc. I will then make one with my extracurriculars. This will include the countless events I have coordinated and participation in LIA, BSU, and Debate. Next, I will make a collage about my people. This will include all my friends and some cute pictures of us.  I will also add pictures of my family and anyone else who has. made a huge impact in my life, even my 3 pets. I will also make a collage of just selfies. I really like taking selfies because it shows me every day and over. time shows my growth and development. I will also show off my culture because it is a huge part of my identity. I will showcase the countries where I am from.
