For my music video, I used the conventions of my genre to my advantage. I used the cliché love and relationship related conventions of the pop music genre and incorporated that into my theme. This is a social issue which  I wanted to represent because it not only relates to me, but a large population of people with a similar demographic to me as well. Production Blog- Editing

Hey guys! Today we will be discussing my editing process. We had a lot of raw footage, so this was a very long process. The app I used for my editing was Capcut. This was the same app that I used for my commercial. Although I did end up going with another app for the final result of my commercial, I did have an overall positive experience. It was a little harder considering I am using much longer clips rather than pictures as I did with my commercial. But, the app was quite beginner friendly and I was able to figure it out in no time. The first thing I did was take a series of pictures of the gum heart unraveling to the title. I then inserted these images into Capcut to create a stop animation style clip. The rest of the editing was quite simple. I just inserted the clips in order into Capcut. I also zoomed in on the clips which required it. That was my editing process. Thank you for reading!
