Editing...Again (Production Blog)

Hey Guys! Today we’re going to be talking about the continued editing process.
After Sarah used iMovie to cut out some unnecessary clips, we decided to switch to CapCut. It being user friendly as well as our previous experience made it much more enticing. Although Sarah and I verbally stated that we were not technologically savvy, it was unanimously agreed to split the work evenly.
Most of the editing decisions were quite obvious considering our theme. We put a dark, bluish filter on our clips. We wanted an eerie but subtle look, similar to the editing of Twilight. One of the hardest parts were the transitions. Nobody in tue group had CapCut Pro, so our options were limited. Many of them seemed childish, obnoxious, or entirely out of the theme. Luckily, there were a few options that fit our projected aesthetic. Also, once music and titles are added, they will be made to be much more subtle and blend in more.
We also made sure to have as much variety as possible within our shots, transitions, and views. We looked over the Cambridge curriculum before filming to decide exactly which specific techniques we would use during filming. This made our post production efforts much more seamless.
Our editing is nearly done and our final results are so close.
Stay tuned into the next blog to see how it turned out. Bye Guys!!
